Skittles Game?

You read corectly. There is a game based on Skittles for the Gamecube called Darkened Skye. Here is the trailer.

I found out about this old game on GamesRadar’s top seven page. If you like video games I suggest you check it out. You can see many different types of top sevens such as bloodest games or least extreme games. Some of the top seven are pretty funny.

New Game to Watch

Well I am sure everyone knows about the new Batman movie coming out, but you might not know about the new game the dark night is in.

Thats right, the dark knight is going head to head with Mortal Kombat legend Sub-Zero. I’m not sure yet how the two sides will fare but I have heard that there will be 20 or 22 characters, with both sides having even numbers. The characters will be based on popularity and how well they represent their respective side. So far Superman, Batman, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion are confirmed.

Personally I think the Joker will find his way in with the new movie coming out soon. I really hope that V from V for Vendetta makes it in as well. I think he would be able to take on many of the Kombatants from the world of Mortal Kombat.

Oversight

Hey everyone,

   My friend’s band Oversight is having a show June 26th. Tickets are $10 and there will be six bands playing at the Trocadero Balcony in Philadelphia. Oversight is a rock band and you can check them out here. I just thought I would give anyone interested a chance to get some tickets.

Ico

Hey everyone dracmere here,

      I just resently won a free month of gamefly which is a website that you can rent video games from. Well I rented a game called Ico and just wanted to tell you that the game is amazing. Its the reason this post is so late into the week. I’ve been playing it in all of my spare time.

      The game itself is relatively short. I managed to beat it in five and a half hours but the story is really deep for such a short game. You control a boy named Ico who is stuck in a castle. After finding a girl named Yorda the two of you must find a way out of the castle. You can call Yorda to you and hold her hand to keep her with you but you can’t let her fall to the shadow creatures in the game. If you do its game over.

    I highly recommand that if you are into video games you try to find a way to play this game. You won’t be sorry. It is a hard to find game for the PS2 so you might have to find someone that owns it and borrow it. It plays like a platformer game with lots of puzzles to solve but the connection between Ico and Yorda is very unique. I have never played a game like this before.

Brushing the dust off this blog

        After my last post I got hit by tons of school work until the end of spring semester. Then I got my wisdom teeth taken out. All four. Anyway I finally got my life back to normal and will begin posting again. There should be at least two posts a week, though it will be whenever I can get around to posting them. I should have a better post tomorrow or Friday. I had karate tonight and am a little tired.

Hello again

Hey everyone, I’m back.

    Sorry to have disappeared for so long. I went to Hawaii for a week and am still trying to get back on track with college. In fact I am supposed to be writing a paper right now that is due 2morrow. I wish I had started it sooner. Anyway I just want to tell you all that Hawaii is awsome. The weather is much nicer then here in New Jersey. Sunny all day with a temp around 80 degrees. It rains weird there. It is so light that you can read a book outside and your pages won’t get wet. One warning, the sand there is course and has a rocky feel to it, so if you want to lay on the beach on comfrontable sand…don’t go to Hawaii.

      Another thing, be careful when you are there. I managed to twist my ankle the second day which really sucked. I took painkillers so I could continue my activites but its been a few weeks and I am still not back to 100%. Well I will try to keep my posts more fequent from now on, and on more interesting topics (at least ones I find interesting).

Super Smash

One of the reasons for my lack of posts is due to the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. If you haven’t heard of it, it is one of the best games for the Wii. It is a fighting based game that involves a ton of Nintendo’s finest characters such as Mario and Link. Also joining in this game  that aren’t Nintendo characters are Sonic and Solid Snake.

The game is pretty awesome. It has a pretty decent story mode, which happens to be two player. Also is the regular fighting mode, which can be done online now. Another new addition is the ability to do a final smash. A final smash is a characters unique (most of the time) special attack that can only be obtained by destorying a smash ball.

Anyway, if you have a Wii and you have fifty bucks, you should buy this game. It is loads of fun.

Oversight has been signed.

Hey, sorry about the long time inbetween posts. I had a ton of papers to do and am finally getting some down time. Anyway Oversight is the name of my friend Josh Taylor’s band. They have been signed by Enexia out of California. They are a rock band that started in the small town of Cedarville, NJ. They actually got signed in the end of Feb. but I have been busy. Anyway if you want to know more about them you can check out their myspace or website.

The Office

If you are a fan of The Office perhaps you are a aware of the 30 episodes that were promised to air this season.  Well clearly, thanks to the time that had been swallowed up by the writers’ strike, that is not going to happen.  However, the good news is a new episode will be airing once again on April 10th!
